The Individualist lounge is an installation that presents each person with conditions of isolation, voyeurism and (dis)synchronicity. It is a moveable place that can physically be installed in countless spaces. Its technical application is rudimentary and primitive, and therefore reliable and tested. Its conception embodies levels of simulation. It parallels the Internet, theories of collective consciousness, seemingly chaotic and contrived spontaneity, and sometimes revolution through human intervention.
